Shoes feel too tight? (wide feet / high instep)
Swap the standard footbed for the thin footbeds - this creates roughly half a size more space and helps with tightness across the top of the foot, high insteps, wide feet, or when adding your own orthotics.
- Remove the standard footbeds.
- Insert the thin footbeds - you'll notice the difference instantly.

Shoes feel too roomy? (narrow feet)
Add the forefoot padding for a snugger fit and reduced heel slip - this helps position your foot securely in the heel cup.
- Remove the standard footbeds.
- Insert the forefoot padding at the front of the shoe, smooth side facing down.
- Put the standard footbeds back in.

Does every shoe come with a Fit Kit?
No - only styles with a removable footbed are compatible. Check the product page just below the size selector for the note "Includes customisable Fit Kit," or use the 'Orthotic Friendly' filter when browsing to see all styles with removable footbeds (compatible with the Fit Kit or your own orthotics).
Styles with a Fit Kit: boots, sneakers, dress shoes, boat shoes, loafers, and fully-enclosed flats.
Styles without a Fit Kit: sandals, heels, and flats with a built-in (non-removable) footbed.
Standard vs thin footbeds
Standard footbeds come fitted in most styles and provide full cushioning and support - these are cut to the exact shape of the shoe. Thin footbeds (in your Fit Kit) are a slimmer version creating roughly half a size more space - reach for these if shoes feel tight across the top of the foot, you have a high instep or wide feet, or you're adding orthotics and need extra room.
Thin footbeds are all cut in a round shape rather than to the shoe's exact outline, so you're welcome to trim the edges for a smoother fit inside your shoe - just do this only once you've decided to keep the shoes.
Getting the right fit by toe shape
Pointed-toe: designed with extra depth and length so toes aren't squeezed. To check fit - stand up (feet naturally elongate), push your foot back into the heel counter and fasten the strap or laces snugly; your big toe should sit just where the shoe starts to taper. Too much space? Add Magic Gel Inserts.
Rounded-toe: aim for a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Open-back styles: your heel should sit snugly in the heel cup. Heel at the edge or hanging over - size up. Heel too far forward (feels like you're clawing to keep the shoe on) - try Magic Gel Inserts or forefoot padding to shift your foot back, or size down if that doesn't help.
