At Bared Footwear, we want your shoes to go the distance. Proper care not only keeps them looking their best but also extends their life.

Leather Care
Leather is best cared for with Bared Conditioner or a good quality polish to restore moisture and keep it hydrated. Before your first outing, spray them with Bared Water & Stain Protector.
An effective shoe care routine will not only make your shoes look great but also extend their lifespan, ultimately reducing your environmental impact.
Suede & Nubuck Care
Protect suede or nubuck shoes from water absorption and marks by applying Bared Water & Stain Protector.
Use a Suede & Nubuck Brush every few wears to brush off dirt or dust on the upper leather. When it’s time to refresh your shoes, we recommend using Bared Suede & Nubuck Cleanser or Shoe Shampoo.

Satin Care
Satin is a very delicate material to maintain, before wearing, mist your shoes at a distance with our Bared Water & Stain Spray to protect them.
It’s incredibly important to be gentle when cleaning! Use a soft-bristled brush or dry cloth, and brush away any dirt on the satin - just be mindful not to rub it into the fabric. Use a damp cloth with a small amount of wool wash to blot any stains, following the grain of the fabric. Finally, “rinse” the shoe by patting it with a cold, damp cloth to remove any soap residue.
Knitted Shoe Care
Made from recycled plastic (rPET), nifty! Before wearing, mist your shoes at a distance with Bared Water & Stain Protector.

Rubber Sole Care
The soles of your shoes need a little TLC, too. Rotate your shoes regularly to increase their longevity.
Our rubber soles and heel caps are designed to wear down over time, but the good news? They’re easy to replace. Just pop into your local cobbler for a quick resole or heel cap swap, and you’ll be back on your feet in no time.
