What is The Fit Kit?
The Fit Kit is our handy tool designed to help you find the perfect fit from the comfort of your home. Inside the kit you will find:
- 1 x pair of forefoot padding
- 1 x pair of thin footbeds.
With easy-to-follow steps, you can use these goodies to adjust the fit of your Bared shoes, ensuring a flawless fit every time.

This is where our thin footbeds come in handy.
1. Remove the standard footbeds inside your new Bared shoes
2. Insert the thin footbeds. You'll instantly notice the difference!

I have narrow feet/my shoes feel too roomy.
This is where the forefoot padding really shines.
1. Remove the standard footbeds
2. Insert the forefoot padding at the front of the shoe, (smooth side face down).
3. Put the standard footbeds back in and voila! Experience a snugger fit and reduced heel slip.

Does The Fit Kit come with every shoe?
No, not every Bared shoe comes with a Fit Kit. Only styles that have a removable footbed can be customised with The Fit Kit.
Styles with a Fit Kit:
- Boots
- Sneakers
- Dress shoes
- Boat shoes
- Loafers
- Flats*
Styles without a Fit Kit:
- Sandals
- Heels
- Flats*
*Only fully-enclosed flats have a removable footbed, others have a built-in footbed that can not be removed to accommodate The Fit Kit or orthotics.
If you’re unsure if a style has a removable footbed or a built-in footbed, use the ‘Orthotic Friendly’ subcategory filter on the collection page. This filter will include styles with a removable footbed that can accommodate our Fit Kit or orthotics.
